    Hi @stefanpejcic,

Thanks for reaching out. I’m consulting with our developers regarding your question about the error and will post an update as soon as possible.

As for the confusing message about support for Lite users, I’m sorry about that! We’ve made adjustments since that thread to provide support within the forums, so you’ve reached the right place πŸ™‚ . The information in the thread is outdated.

    I’ll reach out again soon.

    Thank you!

    Hi @stefanpejcic,

    Thanks for waiting.

I checked in with our team and they’ve confirmed for me the error message that is being shown is actually being generated by cURL itself, we’re just passing it along to you so you know something has not worked correctly.

Even though you can comment out the code and the reports may work, there is still something not quite right and is failing. What is failing will depend on the error message that cURL is passing to MonsterInsights.

In this case, it looks like there may be a firewall blocking one of the calls to Google’s servers for some chunk of data. You may find that some reports are missing data in some way due to that check failing.

The following sites must be accessible for MonsterInsights to work:

    • google-analytics.com
    • MonsterInsights.com
    • AwesomeMotive.com
    • googleapis.com
    • miusage.com
    • google.com

For more information please visit this page: https://www.monsterinsights.com/docs/domains-that-must-be-accessible-for-tracking/

Let me know if you have further questions.

    Thank you!

    Hello,

    Thanks for the information.

I already found that page in your docs before reaching out, and whitelisted all IPs that are used by your domains.

Google SiteKit works without problems and shows all data from the associated GoogleAnalytics account.

I created a simple php script that does curl to all those domains and that works, here you can see the IP from which I am connecting, http status codes for each curl request and the code used: https://password.rs/en/p/9wnb34zxujk

But in your plugin it is reporting that curl error.

    Hi @stefanpejcic,

Thanks for those details. If cURL works on its own, then it’s likely there’s a conflict somewhere, potentially changing the request parameters.

We’d be happy to take a closer look into things if you could reach out to us at https://www.monsterinsights.com/get-help/.

    Thank you.
