Support » Plugin: The Events Calendar » The Events Calendar Widget Alignment

  • I am using the Events Calendar widget in the right sidebar to display 5 upcoming events.

    I have added css to change font sizes and create boxes for each of these events.

    i would like those boxes to be aligned to the left of the sidebar level with “Upcoming Events” title text at the top, and “View All Events” at the bottom. There must be some simple css to achieve this, but I have been unable to find it! Can anybody help?

    Thanks in advance,
    Richard.

    Hey there @dickiedrummer!

    Thanks for reaching out!

    I’m not sure I follow, have you already gotten this figured out?

    Take care,
    Ed ✌️

    Hi Ed,

    Thanks for getting back, and yes indeed I did manage to figure this out using some css which I found online and then adapted to what I have copied below. The part pertinent to my question about alignment was setting the margin at -40 pixels.

    /* events widget style box*/
    .tribe-events-list-widget li.tribe-events-list-widget-events {
    font-size: 12px;
    background: #cdeaf7;
    border: 1px solid red;
    padding: 5px; margin-left: -40px;
    }
