    Hi,

After upgrading Events Calendar Pro (today Feb 11 2020), it has disappeared from the panel and the website. But still appears in the list of plugins.

There is a message at the top which says “to use the Events Calendar Pro install the latest version. When I try to do that, the next message says that installation failed because it is already installed.

I have inactivated it and reactivated it in the plugin list. But it makes no difference.

I have tried to install the basic Events Calendar. But it also says that it is already installed. But this plugin does not show up in the list of plugins, only Pro does.

I can’t find a recent thread about this problem.

What else can I do? Please help…

    Kind regards,
    Elisabeth

    Hi there @elisabethkorswing!
    How’re you doing?

I’m so sorry for this issue. I have two suggestions for you here

    1) Run Testing for Conflicts tutorial
    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/testing-for-conflicts/
This will help you to identify if any external source are causing the error.

    2) Completely remove your Events Calendar plugin and run Manual Update tutorial.
    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/manual-updates/

Please try both and let me know the results

    Cheers,

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply.

Although we don’t think it’s a conflict with our WP theme. We have another homepage, vassaro.se, with the same theme and the same plugin. It has not had any problems with the plugin or the update.

And we have tried removing the main plugin + PRO, and reinstalling them again, which led to the whole website crashing….

Our webhotel support has tried to help us too to no avail. All they could do was to remove the folder for the plugin “Events Calendar” manually (from the code?). We still get the “failiure to install”-message, because “the folder already exixts”.

Do you have any other suggestions?

    Kindly
    Elisabeth
