• Hi, we just found out that we have a conflict between The Events Calendar and iThemes Security. When both are activated we cannot change the security settings as they are not visible in the iThemes Security settings page in the back end.
    Tx

Installed and activated the TEC plugin 5.6.0 release from WordPress.org.

Then tried to navigate to the Security/Settings page. Works fine…

(Using WordPress 5.7.1 and iTSec plugin 7.9.0)

Are there any PHP or javascript errors ?
Should I add at least one event for the issue to reproduce ?

To prevent any confusion, I’m not iThemes.

Good call the combination is more complex than I first thought.
It is when iThemes Security plus The Events Calendar and Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus that we have the problem. We deactivated everything else and as soon as Tickets Plus (that needs Event Tickets and The Events Calendar to work) is activated the problem is there and solid.
I don’t see any error in the console, just a generic warning about the “zoom” property.
    Tx

    Ah, ok I see.

Event Tickets Plus seems to be a premium plugin. So I’m afraid that won’t allow me to try and reproduce the issue.

If you are using a purchased/registered copy of the plugin perhaps it’s probably best to contact the plugin author for support.

If not kindly point me in the right direction 😉

Anyway, I’ve dealt with a similar plugin conflict in the past. But in that case the following msg was displayed:

The link you followed has expired.
    Please try again.

Does that ring a bell ? (Just want to determin whether it’s the same type of plugin conflict I’ve seen before).

Never mind. Gold hold of the Event Tickets Plus plugin. And indeed the issue now reproduces.

Looks like a different type of plugin conflict.
    Investigating …

    Stay tuned 😉

    Tx!

Just a short update. The settings page full html exists. It’s just that part of it doesn’t get displayed. It seems iThemes uses the jQuery .fadeOut() and .fadeIn() functions to display the modules container div.

As a workaround you can manually force the .fadeOut() and .fadeIn() by toggling between grid and list mode.
(The 2 small icons, one blue the other grey, positioned right in front of the Search Modules field). For some reason that seems to work.

Not sure why the .fadeIn() seems to fail on initial load of the Settings page…

Must be a jQuery/javascript issue/conflict. So far it’s unclear how the Event Tickets Plus plugin affects this.

    Thanks again !
I’ll do the toggle when I have to change something again.

Right, this is just a minor display issue.
I don’t expect it to have any effect on changing/saving module settings 😉
