    I am using The Event Calendar in free version on a website build in Elementor. For Elementor, I am using Royal Elementor Pro Addon. The two work quite well together in general, however, when enabling the Mega Menu in royal Elementor the event pages appear empty. As I have understood it, Royal Addons Mega Menu is converting the template to Elementor Canvas and the content gets lost.

    I cannot edit the content with Elementor, as I get the Error message “You must have the ‘the_content’ function in the current template for Elementor to work on this page”. However, I have not find where to adjust this either (I am using the Blocksy theme).

    Please help, is there any way to resolve this?

    I’m glad you brought this to our attention; I can see how this issue impacts your ability to navigate your calendar because of the compatibility issue between The Events Calendar and Royal Elementor Mega Menu.

    I’ve created an internal ticket [BTRIA-2272] to address this issue and I’ve included your specific use case in it to communicate it to our team.

    We prioritize bugs by taking into consideration the number of users impacted as well as how the bug impacts one’s ability to run an event/sell tickets. I don’t have a specific timeline as to when this issue will be resolved, but trust that our team is aware. Our team communicates updates and bug fixes in our newsletter and via our changelog.
