Support » Plugin: Gutenberg Block Editor Toolkit – EditorsKit » THE Essential Plugin for the Gutenberg Editor

  • I’ve been following Jeffrey’s work for a few years now, back when he started with the Widget Options plugin. He’s always produced amazing work, and EditorsKit is by far his greatest plugin to date.

If it weren’t for EditorsKit, I’d still be using the Classic Editor. Seriously, every time I’ve tried to switch to Gutenberg, there’s been a handful of key features that were missing.

EditorsKit added all the functionality I was looking for, and then surprised me with some other really neat features. And it’s all seamlessly built right into the Gutenberg interface. You almost forget that you’re even using a plugin. It’s that smooth.

    • The inline editing features are a lifesaver
    • You can enable/disable every single setting to customize your interface
    • Hide all the WordPress blocks that you’ll never use
    • Set default styles so you don’t have to click that setting every. single. time.
    • More easily visualize your heading tags
    • Show/Hide blocks on different device sizes
    • Show/Hide blocks based on user logged in vs. logged out status

The list goes on and on.

EditorsKit has all the features that Gutenberg should’ve had from the start… and then some. And Jeffrey is constantly improving this thing, releasing new features several times a month. Many of which are based on user feedback, which he does as good of a job as anybody at listening to that feedback.

This is THE essential editing toolkit for Gutenberg. Period.
