Actually I am getting the error as, “Add link to Facebook needs Authorization” but I am unable to Authorize it. If I click the Authorize button in the plugin it refreshes the page and gives the same error. How to resolve it?

For how to get support on this plugin, please read here.

    Sir

The link you provided is taking me to another thread where I can find that it indicates to follow another web site. I don’t find any reason to follow that link without being sure about the site and its activity. Is it not better to get your nice answer here?

    Waiting for your kind attention.

    with best regards
    Anindya

    Please read again.

    Hello Marcel
I am experiencing a similar problem and have not been able to find an answer on the FAQ’s or anywhere else.

The plugin ‘needs authorisation’ but when I they to authorise I get the message

‘Facebook error: Invalid redirect_uri: Given URL is not permitted by the application configuration.’

Having looked at the set-up guide it says the most likely problem is the site URL is not entered correctly (see last screenshot – http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/add-link-to-facebook/screenshots/).

When I first tried to set up the app I entered this as the companies main website (www.shorepilates.co.uk) but thinking I should have entered the companies Facebook page as the only information feeding in is about people who have recommended the site (http://shorepilates.co.uk/about-full-width/about-us/) Problem is I have tried to delete and re-create the app abut I am not given this field to enter. Just App Name & Namespace, Contact email, App Domain and Category.

Can you help with this please as aI really have looked for the answer on your support area and can’t find it.

Please feel my problem. I am using a wordpress plugin and my humble request you to provide the solution to wordpress forum. Expecting that you can feel not to insist me taking a 3rd party web site.

The third party site is mine and safe to use. If you want to have support, you’ll have to go there. I have explained in the referenced discussion why I don’t give support on wordpress.org.
