    Hi,

I will start to say that this is an clever and awesome plugin.

In a multi-language website, with a translated contact form 7 in each of the language pages, this plugin uses the correct language for the captcha question, no problem there. The problem starts when the user chooses the wrong image and an error message appears, that message is in the default language for all the translated languages, that is, If I have a website with english (default), french and spanish languages, this plugin shows the right translated captcha question, but the error message for all languages is in english. How can I make this work the right way?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hello,
My guess is that the translation plugin is only translating what is sees visually when the site loads and might not be translating things like error messages or other messages that may appear through things like ajax. The error messages are being produced using the default contact form 7 method, so I will have to look at the language plugin and see how they are translating.

Could you provide the name of the plugin you are using?

    Thanks for your fast reply.

The name of the plugin is Polylang.

Isn’t it a little strange that the question is in line with the CONTAC language, but the error message is not? If I press the submit button without inserting anything, the CF7 error messages are in the correct language, but the Captcha messages appear in the default language…

    Hi again,

Did you saw my last post? What do you think that is happening with the error message?

The plugin Polylang is fairly used, and the error messages that it loads on the fly for the Contact Form 7, appears in the correct language, what could be the problem for the CF7IC?

    Hi,
I did see your last message, I apologize for the delayed response, unfortunately I have not had a chance to work on the issue yet.

I have the week off of work and plan to work on the plugin this week. The language issues are on the top of my to do list and I will hopefully have an update prepared by the end of the week.

    Hello,
After spending a few hours on this issue, I have not been able to identify the problem.

I have tried various solutions and have searched for alternative methods of including the error message through contact form 7, but nothing seemed to work.
It might be an issue with how contact form 7 uses its custom validation function which is what I use to validate contact form 7.

I will keep working on this off and on, but regretfully this bug may be around for longer then I hoped.
