• I installed PPOM for WooCommerce by mistake directly from the WooCommerce interface. The plugin was never activated, but when I try to delete it from the WordPress dashboard, nothing happens — the “Delete” button doesn’t respond and the plugin just stays there.

There’s no visible error message, and everything else on the site is working normally. I’ve tried refreshing, clearing cache, and reloading the Plugins page, but the issue persists.

Could you please advise on how to completely remove the plugin from WordPress?

    Thank you for your help!

    Best regards,
    Miguel

    Hi @unyverso,

Sorry to hear about the difficulties encountered.

If the plugin doesn’t deactivate from the Plugins page, it’s usually due to a PHP error or a process getting stuck during deactivation.
Here are the steps you can follow to completely remove it:

    1. Confirm the plugin is deactivated:
Go to Plugins → Installed Plugins and ensure the PPOM plugin is not active. If the “Delete” button still doesn’t respond, proceed with the next step.
    2. Manually delete the plugin files:
      • Access your website’s files via FTP or your hosting control panel’s File Manager.
      • Navigate to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
      • Locate the folder named woocommerce-product-addon and delete it.
      • Once deleted, refresh your Installed Plugins page in WordPress — the plugin should no longer appear.

Please let us know if this works for you or if the plugin folder still reappears — we’ll gladly help further.

Also, if you run into any other issues in the future, please feel free to open a topic in our support forum.
