The content from my site has mostly disappeared, please help me

Hi all,

Please can you help a noob with a bit of a problem? 🙂 I was given access to my clients website to add some written content (T&C’s) and without doing very much at all, I have managed to make the vast majority of the content disappear. I’m dreading telling them!!!

When I logged in, it prompted me to install some plugs ins and update the version of wordpress which I did. I don’t believe this had an impact but cannot be sure. I have read a few forums and deactivated the plug ins and reactivated them. This does not appear to have made a difference.

One page does appear to be working (news) but the footer section appears to have disappeared. The remainder of the pages shows the theme but no content.

Please be gentle with me as I am not un-intelligent but this is beyond my realm 😉
