I create a notification mail externally in an HTML editor. If I transfer this code to the Better Notification editor, the <html> tag and the <head> tag will be completely removed. Why is that? Can this be prevented?

Are you entering it into the Visual or Text part of the WYSIWYG editor?

Hi @fxwegr,

It sounds like default WordPress behaviour on the WYSIWYG editor.
According to this article though, you can modify it to stop removing tags: https://ikreativ.com/stop-wordpress-removing-html/
