Support » Plugin: YITH WooCommerce Wishlist » The clear div

  • Just some feedback.

    On line 69 of class.yith-wcwl-ui.php you have…

    $html .= '<div class="clear"></div>';

    …which is a presentation choice that the designer should be making. At the moment having it there is causing a problem with the design I have, so I am having to comment out that line (which means it will come back when I update the plugin). Ideally it shouldn’t be there at all.

    If I want to clear it, I will. But in this case I don’t want to.

    Hope that makes sense.

  • I assume clear has a class with the css clear:both on it which is causing your issue?

    If that is the case you can simply target that div and write your own css to have it clear:none.

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks DesignerEthan,

    Yep I get that (and have already done it) but I guess I was (poorly) making a point that putting it in there in the first place doesn’t seem right as a clear is something the designer will add if it’s required. Otherwise we’re having to add that extra CSS to ‘fix’ something we didn’t necessarily want.

    Not a big deal, but it would seem to be a better practice.
