On the Appearance tab, the newly created child theme's image is blank. Shouldn't it display an image that is identical to the image of the parent?

    Hi nickl3838

    Short answer: yes and no.

This is probably the most requested feature for the plugin. As of now, it doesn't create the thumbnail (so what you're seeing is the "expected" behavior).

I do plan to add that functionality. I'm hoping to have a new version released this month which adds that functionality. To keep an eye on the progress for the feature, here's the issue on the plugin's issue tracker: https://github.com/johnpbloch/child-themify/issues/6 When that says it's closed, it means I've added support for copying over the thumbnail.

Much later than I meant, but this is now in the latest release of the plugin.
