  • Maybe I messed a setting or maybe this is some weird bug.

    I added Instagram for my own account that matches my admin email address.

    After authenticating, it’s asking me for an email address since I have Bouncer enabled. I enter my matching email address that is my Instagram one as well as site Admin email and get a ‘That E-mail is already registered!’ error on the login form.

    Shouldn’t WP Social Login match and log in with Instagram in this case or have I got it’s logic incorrect?

  • This seems to be a problem for all Providers that I request the email address for, for an existing user with the same email address.

    thoughts on how to get around this?

    I have the same issue. Is there a solution to this? Just started, so it may be a settings change, but I can’t figure out the correct setting.

    BEHAVIOR: Existing users who previously registered via WSL and FB are getting an intercept to confirm the email/user_name.

    I can see this correctly occurring for new users, but not for existing users.


    Unfortunately it’s a usability bug that has no solution yet, sorry.
