Support » Plugin: WooCommerce Accepted Payment Methods » Thanks, and some suggestions

  • Thank-you for the plugin. It feels like it should be core WooCommerce to be honest, as it surely all stores need to display this information?

I found the placement of the settings options totally unintuitive though and would suggest moving them may decrease the number of people you may get asking for assistance in this area 😉 I expected the settings to either be on their own tab in the WooCommerce settings page, or in a new segment on the Payments tab. Then I looked in the WordPress settings sub-menu, before deciding the plugin probably wasn’t working properly on my installation. Eventually I located the settings, and it works just fine!

It would be great to have the option to display the cards that may be accepted via a merchant gateway (rather than just the gateway name itself) as many customers still don’t understand that for example PayPal UK standard means a shop can accept mastercard, visa, delta, electron, discover, american express and maestro without the customer being required to have a PayPal account.

It would be nice to have the option to display ‘more info’ text which could then be linked to the shops page on payment methods/security information.
