First of all, on behalf fall of the users, I’d like to extend a thank you for taking on this large project.

Secondly, your website is currently unavailable. I’m not sure if you were aware, and if so, do you have an ETA when it will be back online?

Finally, I’ve been trying to figure out a way where users can log-in and donate again so the additional donations are linked to their account and a year-to-date amount of donations could be accessed. I’ve searched far and wide and even obtained estimates of this work, and it seems not possible. I know I, and many others, would really appreciate this feature.

    Again, thank you so much,
    Spencer

It’s up now. The hosting provider might have been doing some maintenance. Sorry about the inconvenience.

As for the second item, the plugin now is designed to be front-end centric. The idea of linking it to the user makes a lot of sense. I’m recoding the 4.0 version to support custom post types rather than a big options array, and custom post types lend themselves to linkage with user information, so it’s possible.

I’m going to grab your notes and add it to the feature requests list. It’s a good idea and once the 4.0 build is complete, it shouldn’t be that difficult to link donors with users.

Just a recap: the 4.0 build is the conversion for file format, updating to modern WordPress, adding basic extensibility, and making it possible for ongoing maintenance. There won’t be a lot of big new features, but it’s the touchstone point where the code becomes much more practically manageable and extensible.

Marking this as resolved for now.

P.S. If you still can’t get into the zatzlabs.com site, let me know here. As far as I know (based on Google Analytics), it’s reasonably responsive and alive.
