Thank you message on signup form page doesn't show

    Hello,

    I have setup a simple form for people to input their first name, last name, email, and a Captcha. The thank you message (on the same page) doesn’t show publicly when the user clicks on “Register” but when I test it being logged into WordPress, the thank message shows up fine. I am using Participants Database Version 1.6.2.7.1. Thank you for your help.

    I have two files that the user can download after signing up in the thank you message. I also reverted the Participants Database version back to 1.6.2.5 to see if that made a difference–it doesn’t. I had updated the to the latest version earlier in the day when I posted my message.

    I took a look at it and it looks like you have page caching that is interfering with the submission. You should turn off page caching on that page. Caching is typically not used for logged-in users, so that’s why it worked better when you were logged in.

    I turned in a couple of test submissions you can delete.

    Where do you turn off page caching on a page? Can that be caused by another plugin?

    Sorry. Just thought about this and our hosting provider doesn’t allow caching plugins.

    That’s probably because they have their own caching set up on the server. Ask them how to prevent caching on a particular page.

    I contacted our hosting provider and they were able to fix the issue for me. Thank you again for all your help!
