I am sending test mails from my contact form and it ends with the message:

-“Thank you for your message. It has been sent.”

…but the email is never received. I have been checking all the configuration of the contact form and it seems to be ok.

The system was working ok until I added a new field and since that no mail is received. What can be wrong?

FAQ > I see a response message “Your message was sent successfully” with green border, but I never receive a mail for that.

Takayuki, thanks a lot for your accurate response. I checked my spam and every mail I sent as tests were there!

What I don’t seem to understand is why, out of the blue, my contact form mails started to go to the spam folder. All of the test mails I sent before adding the cellphone field went to the inbox with no trouble. Is the cellphone field the cause?

I’m checking the “Best Practice to Set Up Mail” post anyways, but it will be truly valuable to me if you have any other clue, now that we know what is really happening here.

Hay Takayuki, I have almost the same problem as jupiter, but I receive message after 15-16h, do you have some hint? It’s not about server, we look that and fixed, still I have problem with that part
