• Thanks for the plugin. This works great! I only wish The video could play on the same page of the post like an embedded video, rather than turning the entire page dark with the video playing in the center and making users hit the back page button in their browser to get back to my blog.

You can do it either way. It sounds like you made a pop-up video gallery. You can also embed a single video (or several single videos) in a post and it will play in the post.

I thought I had embedded a single video! I love your plugin. Please tell me how to embed a single video so that it plays like an embedded video from Vimeo, YouTube, etc. When I’m writing a post, I click the add video button provided by your pluging and select a video. The result is a video that plays in a dark gray browser window, requiring one to navigate back to my original blog post. Thank you so much for any help you can offer!

Check the shortcode that was inserted into the post. It should look something like

    [KGVID width="640" height="360"]http://www.yourwebsite.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/awesomevideo.mp4[/KGVID]

If it has gallery="true" in there along with things like height and width, then take that out. If it doesn’t have gallery="true" in there, then your theme might be messing around with things. Can you post a link to the page?

Kyle, thank you so much for providing me with this level of support! I don’t know what was going on before, but I deleted your plugin and then reinstalled it. Everything seems to be working now. The plugin is even better than before! It’s perfect! Thanks! Videos play on the page of the blog post just like an embedded Vimeo video. And they look better!
    Again, thank you.

I am going to donate to this plugin. Thank you!!!
