I’m just writing to say thank you for writing a plugin that actually works without a lot of hair tearing.
My development is using custom post types and the framework is Genesis. I spent too much time trying to make this plugin work last night:
It worked great when the short code was added to the post content itself. When I took the short code out of the post content, the player disappeared so it didn’t work so great when I tried to call it from a custom field. After literally spending hours trying to make their template tags work within the Genesis Framework, I threw my hands up in utter disgust.
Perhaps it is the theme base choice that confounded me but, if I can write custom post type code and add metaboxes to that post type from scratch, it boggled my mind that I couldn’t get the mp3-player template tags to work. Believe me, I tried everything sanely possible within the constraints of the Genesis Framework.
This morning, I went looking for another answer that would work with the do_shortcode function, as is well documented on wordpress codex. Your plugin popped up! When I saw that Tips & Tricks HQ was the author, I was elated. Your stuff just works and I’ve been recommending my clients to your plugins and addons for years.
Keep up the good works. I am, and have long been, a raving fan of your software.
