Textarea field needs additional option

    Seeing as there is presently no way to incorporate the information entered in the “instructions” field into the sent emails, the Textarea field is the only way to do this. Admittedly, this not the best way to include required text.

    In order for this method to be practical in a way that retains the desired text and prevents editing, the Textarea field needs to be given an option to make the field “readonly”. A simple checkbox in the admin panel for the field would be best.

    Sorry, there are no plans to add this.

    You can accomplish this with jQuery using the .prop function.

    Yeah, well… no big surprise there. Expected response. But, it had to be asked.

    It’s really too bad there is no simple, straight forward, or easy way to integrate additional required information into your form system emails. Doesn’t seem like it should be all that difficult to make it happen. Whatever.
