    I’m putting together a blog post that is in draft mode at present. I’ve added a couple of pictures but I find that the text below these images wraps around the image which is pretty annoying. If I add some carriage returns so that in my dashboard the text is below the image and looks fine, when previewing the text is miles below.

    I dont understand why it does this as it has never happened before in the past. Is it simply a case of adding a BR tag after the image?

    Thx
    Jose

    If you use the default WP styles for image alignment, yes, it will cause the text to flow around:

    Hi WPyogi and thanks. Im struggling to find a solution. Do I need add this to html via the dashboard to stop the text wrapping?

    <br style=”clear: both;” />

    The link you provided seems to be mainly about messing about with the css style sheets (eek!) and how to changes borders, etc and there doesn’t seem to be any mention of removing the wrap feature as far as I could see apart from the above but Im not sure. Sorry but I need a bit more guidance and if you can help I’d appreciate it. Thx!

    That should work, though it might be a bit more elegant/tidy to add a class for clear both to your CSS and then assign that class to the element following the image.

    In case anyone has the same issue, I used the above code in the text dashboard and it works. I will look at the better solution as suggested for future posts when I get time. Thanks again WPyogi 🙂
