• would like to have the title text wrap around a thumbnail. the user 00ne had a thread about this last year, didn’t really say what they ended up doing. one person mentioned a two column design.. I only want the title text wrap sometimes, not for all posts.. is this possible?

    Thanks!

  • If it’s done dynamically that would be quite a trick. Otherwise you could make separate header images which includes the title wrapped around an image or not. Each could be used conditionally depending on the page or category, even individual posts.

the question as it is, is purely about formatting and has nothing to do with WordPress – the topic might therefore been asked in the wrong forum.

formatting is very individual to the existing html and css structure.

for any suggestions, please post a link to your site to illustrate where you want your title wrapped.

thanks – the website is artobserved.com. you’ll see there are normal big posts about art exhibitions, but then we do newslink ‘miniposts’ where we want the thumbnail version. We had some code written a while ago to do what we have now, but the text is still technically ‘body’ – not the title – so it doesn’t show up in any searches or RSS feed, and when it goes to twitter it has a colon always before the text (: text). You’d think there’s just an option to change formatting, like in tumblr or something.. if this question doesnt belong here, where would i find an answer for formatting?
