Hello, I need some help please. I’ve got WP 2.5.1 running ok for the most part. I have a 3-column theme (Cutline 3-column split). Whenever I try to add a Text Widget that has just plain text or html, it works fine. But whenever I try to add ANY javascript, like for example Google AdSense or Technorati JS code, I get the following error:

    Forbidden

You don’t have permission to access /wp-admin/widgets.php on this server.

Looked to me like an Apache permissions issue, so as a test I chmod’ed my ENTIRE web directory to 777. I am still getting the same error, but only if I try to put javascript in the Text Widget. Even if I just do <script></scrip> it will throw the same error.

Any ideas? I’m going crazy here. Thanks!

Sorry, correction. I can upload Javascript anywhere on my WP 2.5.1 site! I just installed the Sharethis plugin, and I was modifying the settings by uploading new Javascript code. It doesn’t work, either. Now the error I get says that I don’t have permission to access index.php.

Can someone please help me? Why won’t Javascript work with WordPress? I’m a total newbie…
