Text widget strips google client from view?

When I use google ads javascript in a text widget and go back to the widget after it’s saved the google client number is striped out of the code. Does anyone know why this happens? Please note the client code remains after the first save and shows if you veiw the source of the actual webpage it is suppose to be display on, but is striped if you check the text in the widget after a save.
