text widget

Ok guys. I’m not 21 anymore and cant remember everything I need to. I need somewhere to learn & ask questions. Not advance but beyond the most basic level. I have customizr pro & use a child theme. I want to style the size of the text in a text widget that appears on the individual posts page.

If I am using the inspect – Chrome tool correctly – it seems that the body text is setting the size. Nothing I’ve done seems to change it. I want it to be a little smaller to be different from the post text.
