# Text & URL fields not supporting 'http://'

 * I am using Visual Form Builder for a submission form at [http://carshowz.com/add-car-shows/](http://carshowz.com/add-car-shows/)
 * I have a field for the user to enter a link ([http://www.example.com](http://www.example.com)).
 * If the field does indeed have http:// in it when the user hits submit, the page
   reloads, the form is shown again, no error message is given, and the event is
   not created/saved.
 * If the field does not have http:// in it, it works perfectly fine.
 * I can do http:www.example.com, http:/www.example.com, but, NOT [http://www.example.com](http://www.example.com)
 * This of course is a problem when the URL validation is enabled on the Text field
   type or I am using the URL field type.
 * As a work around, I removed URL validation on a text field.
 * This is a recent problem. The site was migrated to a new server with a fresh 
   install of WordPress and Visual Form Builder.

 * Sounds like a mod_security problem. Contact your host and let them know what’s
   going on.
