Could you link the site in question?

Do you have an example of a website that does what you want already, for illustrative purposes?
I can not seem to find any that currently use it. Instead of the horrible text that comes up in the small yellow rectangle when you hover over it, I would want the actual text which I have already placed to come up. I wish I could find a website that has done it, would make life a bit easier

Could you screenshot and highlight the area that you’re referring to: http://snag.gy/ ?

Sorry if I’m wrong, but do you want to have the text disappear at first and only appear when you hover over it?

Try adding this CSS right at the bottom of your Child Theme’s style.css file:
.blog .hentry span.hometitle {
left: -9999em;
}
.blog .hentry a:hover span.hometitle,
.blog .hentry a:focus span.hometitle {
left: 0;
}
Just tried it and it didn’t make any changes

Can you try clearing your browser’s cache to see whether you’re looking at an old webpage?
Brilliant!! Works perfectly! That you SO much for your help! Greatly appreciated
Hi! Excuse me how did you make it not black and white pictures in circles and with a text on it when you hover over? Thank you in advance
