This may or may not be appropriate here. Yet…I think it certainly IS.
I need to do “text” searches in all the template files in my dark_classic template…and more. To me THIS would be the easiest way to make necessary changes and to modify my files…and more.
How can I search for text IN files on my godaddy.com server?

I know that I can use the theme editor. I need to go deeper than that.

    Please help and advise.
    Thank you.

  • Download the files to you computer and then use a program like win-grep to find text strings in a group of files.
