Hey @bloggingthemes ,
Could you please let me know what version of the plugin you have?
Warmly,
Razvan
It is the recent one as mentioned, version 1.5.85.
Here’s another screenshot that shows that he used a different font somehow. https://ibb.co/gdWbfg3
Here’s another showing an older ticket from another user with the normal, usual font. https://ibb.co/fM9Y02k
There’s also something off with KB Support where some tickets take a long time to load (keeps loading a ticket for 3+ minutes) and eventually crash the website, but that’s another issue. Sometimes clearing cache from KB Support’s ticket page solves it. I think the plugin needs work (and your website too..).
Hey @bloggingthemes,
We’ve managed to find the issue and are trying to find a solution for this. You can follow the evolution here: https://github.com/WPChill/kb-support/issues/255

Thank you! I’ll mark this as resolved and wait for the next update.
Most probably the update will take place on Monday.
Have a great week-end!

Razvan
Hello @bloggingthemes ,
Wondering if the latest update solved you problem.
Warmly,
Razvan
I cleared cache and viewed the ticket, cleared cache again, but the text is still overflowing =(. Is this update good for current tickets or only for new tickets?
Secondly, I’d like to ask if it’s possible for your plugin to have its own menu on the left rather than 2 menus. Right now, I see Tickets and KB Articles but they’re separate from each other. I have Tickets, then Downloads (from Easy Digital Downloads), then KB Articles, etc. It would be great to have only one called KB Support and have Tickets and KB Articles in there. It’ll use less space.
Hello @bloggingthemes ,
Should have been good for both old and new. Are you comfortable using the Browser’s Developer Tools? A screenshot of the styles that are applied to the overflowing text would help a lot.
Warmly,
Razvan
Hi,
It’s using the <pre> tag.
I changed it temporarily in inspect tool to <p> and it fixes it, so the issue is with <pre> tags. I verified other, functioning tickets and they use <p> tags too.
I would assume he copied and pasted a quote from another company in there and that changed his message’s formatting (since he was quoting someone else in there).
I tried various other tags there and so far only the <pre> tag causes that overflow :).
Thanks for the info. We’ll try to find a solution for the next release, possibly tomorrow, regarding this situation. Will keep you posted.
Warmly,
Razvan
Hello @bloggingthemes ,
We’ve released version 1.5.87 that addresses this issue. Could you take a look and let me know if the problem still persists?
Warmly,
Razvan
Thank you. The issue is officially resolved :)!
Awesome to hear that 😀 !
Have a wonderful day!
Razvan
You as well!
I also hope you can consider this: “I’d like to ask if it’s possible for your plugin to have its own menu on the left rather than 2 menus.
