[resolved] text or html widget not accepting iframe (4 posts)

I'm running a wordpress.com blog. I wanted to add an external widget to my sidebar using widgets, text or html arbitrary, but when I save the widget the code I've inserted disappears.

It's an iframe. Is wordpress.com blog not supporting iframe embedding on their html widgets?

The code I'm trying to show is the following:

    <iframe id="frame-dontknow" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" width="300" height="500" src="http://www.dontknow.net/content/dontknow-sugiere" ></iframe>

the blog where this is not working: blog.dontknow.net

I tried the same on a self hosted wordpress 3.5.1 blog and it works fine: http://sonesu.com/

    Any help?

    Thanks, I found http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/add-iframe-widget?replies=1
    and http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/i-cant-use-iframe-why?replies=2#post-477722

with same response: iframes are not allowed in WordPress.com

as they where responses added several years ago, I hope that this might have changed...

No I don't believe it has changed, but you need to ask there - these forums are not related to .COM sites at all.
