Text on Image

Hello!
This might be a basic questions but I’ve been struggling with it.
I’m trying to have some text show on an image. So far I’ve used a text box (in WP Bakery), set the image as the background and then tried to position the text such that it shows up in approximate location that I want. It’s a large full width picture and so it’s a bit of a pain to position the text.
However, this doesn’t work in mobile since the image is in the text box and the text box is massive (to allow for the large picture), it doesn’t show up on my phone.
Any suggestions for this issue? I’m sure there is a way to do it but my google searches didn’t reveal anything.
