# text missing from posts

 * I have seen that many of the pages on our website have dropped the majority of
   the body of text on a page.
 * It is clear that it is dropped, for many pages will have a line of text and it
   will be incomplete.
 * It also is no longer appearing in the edit section (both ‘visual’ and ‘text’).
   The text is not white either. Approximately 10 pages have all had text deleted.
   I’ve provided a link that is an example of how it look now.
 * Is any one aware of common causes and how to rectify – especially find the ‘apparently’
   deleted text?

 * You could look for the missing text in the wp_posts table using phpMyAdmin. If
   its not there it won’t be anywhere, unless you have backups.
 * I don’t think this is a common problem. Best guess is that one of your plugins
   is causing a conflict or otherwise misbehaving. Can you replicate the issue by
   doing a new test post? If so, temporarily deactivate all plugins and retest. 
   Reactivate one-by-one and retest to try to identify which plugin is causing the
   problem.
 * In particular, check to see if you have any admin-side editor enhancement type
   plugins. If so, are they up-to-date and are they being maintained.
