# text link trouble

 * I have a link set up that is capturing a variable from a URL. It works perfectly
   when I use my snippet to hyperlink an image.
    However, when I try to hyperlink
   to a text link I get a bunch of crud at the beginning of the link. When I then
   use [php snippet=1] as a hyperlink within the WordPress text link like this: 
   [click here](http://[php snippet=1]) the result is this: [http://%3Ca%20href%3D%22http//somesite.gosomewhere.org/aff_c?offer_id=31&aff_id=109&aff_sub=123456789](http://%3Ca%20href%3D%22http//somesite.gosomewhere.org/aff_c?offer_id=31&aff_id=109&aff_sub=123456789)
 * What is making this happen and how do I fix it? [http://%3Ca%20href%3D%22](http://%3Ca%20href%3D%22)

 * removing the http:// from the snippet solved it.
