 * Hello,
 * First time WordPress user, need a bit of help please.
 * The text I have written appears to be white (and slightly shaded?) I can’t seem
   to figure it out. Has anyone encountered this before or have I done something
   wrong with this theme?
 * See the link, I have highlighted some text to prove that it IS there.

 * The text in the banner section is white because it was designed to go over an
   image.
 * If you’re just writing content, I’d suggest you use a [Columns section](https://thethemefoundry.com/docs/make-docs/page-builder/columns-section/)
   instead. 🙂

 * Thank you! That’s a big help! I feel a bit dumb now. Unfortunately the column
   makes…well…columns. I need horizontal page spanning text blocks. Is that possible
   with Make? Am I missing something? Or is it in Make Pro only?
    Maybe i’ll head

 * Yep. That’s not a problem. Click the gear icon of the Columns section and set
   it to 1 column. 🙂
