  • Hi,

    I’m new to WordPress can anyone take a look at my site: http://www.zhongie.nl
    ? I’m modifying retromania.

    I just can’t seem to find the right code in style.css why my texts in the widgets get cut off.

    Kind regards

    Try adding a defined with to the li items via your theme’s stylesheet.

    I’m sorry esmi thanks for your answer but I’m total new to WordPress. I really don’t know anything about css. I still haven’t figured out what to do with my blog. I’ve played with the font sizes but that didn’t help. What i would like to do is that the text goes on another line if the text is too long for the width inside the widget.

    edit style.css of your theme, and find this style:

    .sidebar ul li ul li
    {
    	margin:0 0 0px 10px;
    	padding: 5px 0 5px 13px;
    	background:url(images/bullet.gif) left top no-repeat;
    }

    add a width – for instance:

    .sidebar ul li ul li
    {
    	width:200px;
    	margin:0 0 0px 10px;
    	padding: 5px 0 5px 13px;
    	background:url(images/bullet.gif) left top no-repeat;
    }

    Thanks I couldn’t push it further than 216px. I still have space on the right though. Does that have something to do with padding?
