text formatting lost when posting to Facebook

Hi
I’m developing a new wordpress web site using the twenty twelve theme and have isnstalled the Add Link to Facebook Plugin.
When we tested a post, all the text formatting was lost when it appeared on Facebook – just continuous text with no line breaks/paragraphs

What can be done to fix this?
