I just discovered the Multiple-columns option on the Elementor Text Editor widget. This is great, especially for Mobile view. You can create a 3 column display that stays 3 column in the mobile view. It does a kind of auto dispersment to spread the content across all the set columns. Is there any way or code that will let the user set when the content should break into the next column? This ability would make this feature fantastic. I.E. You enter Title, Image, Text and then the same again to be under the first. Then you enter the next column code so you can define that column.
If each column is identical, they are all equal but adding text makes the display change randomly.

    Any suggestions are appreciated.

  • No, that isn’t possible, or at least not without some extensive custom coding, I would imagine. But if you are trying to put Title, Image, Text in 3 columns, then you would be better off just creating 1 new column, then drag a Heading widget into it, followed by an Image widget under the Heading, and a Text Editor widget under the image. Then right-click the column, select Duplicate, and do that once more. Now you’ll have 3 columns with exactly the same content in them, and you can just change the text and images in the two new columns.

I’ve done exactly what you suggested and it looks great on the Desktop. The issue is when you go mobile, all three columns are stacked. If you do this using the Text Widget, the mobile shows it as 3 horizontal columns in the mobile format. Look near the bottom of the page at tiger721.com I’m having a hard time giving up on this one. It’s such a great feature, just that small balancing restriction.

Edit each column. Column > Layout > Column Width – Click the little gray device icon next to the Column width and select the Mobile icon. Now put 33% in the column width field. Do the same for each column for mobile.
