Text Editor in WP Ver.4.0

    Hi:
    I have recently upgraded to Ver 4.0. When I try creating post using text editor, I find that the Insert/Edit Link icon is not responding and hence am not able to give hyperlinks.

    Please advise how to tackle this?

    Are you using any sort of caching plugin, or do you see a “Clear/Purge Cache” button in your Dashboard or admin bar? If so, would you please try clearing the cache?

    If that doesn’t work, or if you aren’r running a cache plugin, try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Fourteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Hi James:

    I got the cache cleared and the next moment I found that both the Insert/Edit Link and also Add Media icon are both working fine. These were not functioning earlier.
