Text displayed incorrectly

I have a problem in which the space between a regular word and a text link is displayed incorrectly. Sometimes there is a space there, sometimes not. Sometimes the text link overlaps the word. I cannot find out why.

This is a new problem that seems to have happened all by itself suddenly and it is only a problem in Firefox 1.5 on the Mac, not in Safari. I don’t have any other browsers so I don’t know what it looks like there.

The post writing window text is also very buggy and it is difficult to see exactly what I’m writing.

Have tried deactivating plugins and upgrading to WP 2.1.3. Don’t think I have changed anything such as upgrading the browser which could have caused this change.
