The new version 2.4.0 of the plugin (just released) should fix this issue.

problem appears to be back but worse. nothing is displayed in the visual editor in the home widget 1-2-3 after the update to version 2.4.2 in the responsive theme.
I specifically checked the Home Widget content before and after the plugin update because I had seen the problem on several other of my websites after the latest set of updates which included the theme update to Responsive 3.0. the problem was present before the theme update to 3.0 so I do not think the theme is involved.
cannot enter data in the widget, but on one site I had copied text into a widget but it was not visible in the visual edit tab unless you highlighted the text. But the text was visible in the the text/html tab with no html codes.
sorry to be so verbose, but I am an sw sys engineer with many sites with virtually the same standard set of wordpress theme & plugins.

I just made a test with WordPress 4.8.1, Responsive theme 3.0 and Black Studio TinyMCE Widget 2.4.2 and I had no issues at all, so it’s very likely that your problem is caused by a conflict with another plugin (i.e. JetPack).
Please read our FAQ about troubleshooting (especially the part about the javascript console) and then open a new thread on the support forum (this one is related to a totally different problem and it’s already marked as resolved).

your plugin is clean, I did a further test on another site where I update Jetpack and two others and saw the same problem without updating TinyMCE or the theme.
So I too think it is a Jetpack problem.
