    I am trying to add text to my homepage using the Sela template, below the featured image but above the widget images. Can you help?
    Also I’m having difficulty finding what version of wordpress I am using.

    The reason your version isn’t evident is that you’re hosted on WordPress.com, not running the WordPress software on your own hosting. These forums are for folks who are self-hosting.

    Sela isn’t designed to display text in that location, but you might be able to accomplish that with some custom CSS.

    Custom CSS is available with the Premium or Business plans on WordPress.com.
