# Text bar issue

 * Hi,
 * When I use the text bar, the smart slider doesn’t work.
    I don’t know when this
   case started. The text bar had worked promptly before. I tried it with Smart 
   Slider3 ver3.4.1.13 and 3.3.28.
 * Please give me any advices.

 * Which Smart Slider 3 version are you using right now? The 3.4 version are not
   backwards compatible:

   so if you installed the 3.3.28 version after installing the 3.4 version then 
   that could also cause this problem.
 * If you turn off all your other plugins and switch back to a default (Twenty*)
   theme, does the Text bar work? If it’s okay like that, run a plugin/theme conflict
   test to figure out what causes the problem:

   to find the cause of the problem, and then please tell me the name of the plugin/
   theme which causes it.
 * It might be just a JavaScript error, what you can check like this:

   turning off the plugin that causes it should make the slider and Text bar work
   correctly again.
 * If the problem persists when no other plugins are enabled using a default WordPress
   theme, then please send me a link to your site, and an export of your slider:
