Text appears edited in text editor – no changes to page

    Wordpress 4.8
    Theme is BlankSlate
    All other plugins off
    Elementor 1.5.5 (NOT Pro)

    I can make changes to text in the text editor (to the right). They show up there.

    On the page, the font remains default.. Bold does not show up, H# text does not show up. Basically everything remains in the system default font.

    Fonts do change when applied to other elements (e.g. buttons) in “Typography:.

    I wonder if anyone else has come across this, or has an explanation/fix for it?

    When you have the “typography” switch “on” in the “Style” tab, for some elements it appears to often disable the preset formats in the “content” tab, So if activated, try switching off typography in the Style tab and see if that works.
