Text and Media Block

    I cannot seem to get the text and media block to work as I expect.

    It will not publish the media part on the home page, although if one follows the link to the entire post, it appears to be fine.

    I have tried disabling all plug-ins.

    Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening, or could this be by design.

    An example is posted on the site.

    Update: I loaded the Singlet Theme (which Twenty Twenty-One is based on) and the Text and Media block works as expected.

    So I would assume that this is a problem in the theme.

    Any suggestions of where to go from here?

    Could you check two things?

    1. Go to Customize (in Appearance menu) and look under Excerpt Settings. Make sure “Full text” is selected.
    2. If that is set to “Summary” instead, check whether the “Under Construction” post has the image block’s image included within the excerpt.

    YES – that easily solved the problem.

    That setting is labeled for “Archive Pages”, which threw me off.

    Anyway it was simple, but couldn’t have found it without you guys.
