I look after a few WP sites but have always worked with the developers on them essentially telling them what kind of visual the client wanted.

Over the time I've done this I've learned a very few things about maintaining these sites.

Now I'm trying to do one on my own and its not going so great and the people I've worked with are too busy to help with such neophyte questions.

I'm Using the Twenty Ten theme.

I'm trying to get the text on the pages to fill the entire white box that sits in the middle of the page. As I'm sure I'm not using the correct terminology you can view the page at http://www.renovationsbyterry.com

If some can please tell me what element of the CSS I have to modify to get this text to fill that white box area more fully I'd appreciate it.

I've tried using justify in the text editor and trying to find a place in the css to put a justify element but nothing has worked so far.

I'm sure this is an easy fix there are just so many "text" items in the CSS not sure where to go.

It's not a CSS issue. It looks like your home/welcome page is using a layout with a single sidebar on the right. And that sidebar has no widgets so it appears blank. If you can make that page full width that should fix it.

To help identify the widget-area in question. It is the one where you or someone stuck a test object with a class named "xoxo". That just needs to go away.

Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS work.
