I have noticed that some of my blog posts have

    <

    p style=”text-align: center;”>

Edit to add that it PRINTS that tag into my post

wherever I have something aligned like an image or a paragraph. I do not use Gutenberg, I use the classic editor.

I have eliminated each plugin and verified it is Jetpack causing this issue for me.

To combat this, I have deactivated Jetpack much to my dismay. I was not sure if anyone else had a similar issue.

    Hi there, @xocupcake,

I’m sorry to hear about the trouble, but thanks for reaching out.

Can you link some of the post URLs where you noticed this? If you could also kindly re-activate Jetpack for me, that’d be great so I can do some tests.

Lastly, can you also try disabling the Classic Editor when Jetpack is enabled to see if the error still occurs this way?

Let me know what you find out. Thanks for sorting this out with me!

That’s the only post I haven’t edited yet. I first noticed this happening with my tables-posts. If you click on “weight loss” at the top, you will see posts with my tables. These were the first ones I saw with the paragraph tag printed in the post. I had to go through and delete the tag from each post. Then I noticed it on posts where the last thing in the post is a centered item like a paragraph or image (more often images). It still showed up sometimes but stopped showing completely once I deactivated Jetpack.

I will do the steps you asked after a day or two or once I know you’ve seen it because it’s my last post that I haven’t edited.

It was very random, but only on text-align:center items

    Hello, there.

I can see the tag printed, yeah. Thanks for showing us!

I know you said you saw the issue even with all other plugins but Jetpack disabled, could you also try switching out your theme for a more minimalistic one (such as Twenty Nineteen) with only Jetpack active to make sure this isn’t some sort of theme conflict?

Please let us know the results of the above troubleshooting and also what Stef suggested and we can go from there. Thanks!

I did try it with other themes as well. I will switch it now!

I have changed it and deactivated everything and switched themes. I’m having a hard time FORCING the issue. Also, I used the Gutenberg editor to create a test post and have had no problems.

The theme I had was Make (I’m sure you all knew that!) and I have a bunch of plugins, but I was using Classic Editor.

I was considering activating that and seeing if I can trip it.

I just can’t get it to do it again.

I disabled all plugins, enabled Jetpack – no result
I activated the Twenty Nineteen theme – no result
I reactivated all plugins – no result
I reactivated Make theme – no result

I just can’t get it to do it again!!!! So frustrating. I have a totally renewed respect for you guys.

Okay, I think I may have narrowed it down to a different plugin: Urvanov Syntax Highlighter.

I will jump over there for support!
