I am looking for people with an android tablets or phone, or an Apple iPad or iPhone to test next version of the plugin.
I added code to intercept the long press that normally would bring up a context menu so users could save an image.
I am doing this blind from sample code I found. I don’t have a way to test this.
Please download the beta test of no-right-click at:
Install this on your blog and test an image with your mobile device.
Press and hold the image to create a long press event and see if the context menu appears.
If the the image is protected in Firefox or IE then it should be protected on your device.
As always, the plugin does not protect images in jQuery type galleries or intercept clicks that would open the image in a window.
If you don’t want to install the plugin, I have put up an image at http://www.blogseye.com/2012/11/testing-a-new-version-of-no-right-click-images-plugin/ and it should be protected.
