    We had an issue where a scheduled post remained “scheduled” long after the date was reached. We received hundreds of visitors per day, and it did not seem to be a time zone issue.

    After installing the plugin, I scheduled a post to publish in one minute. Refreshing a few times as a regular visitor, it did not show up (as expected). After a minute has passed, it showed up.

    It seems this plugin has fixed the issue. Although I’m still not sure why the default functionality did not work. This is a good enough workaround for now.

    Thanks for your review! Seems that most of the WP scheduled post issues are with GoDaddy. Are you hosted there?

    No, it’s actually just a very old Media Temple server that the website was on (plesk, unmanaged server). I manage a lot of websites and I have ran into this issue only a couple of times. It’s not my responsibility to manage this client’s server so I’m actually OK with the workaround 🙂
