Test works but external login not working

Hi there

I’ve setup the plugin at my website using db settings for an external wordpress installation. When running the test, then it fetches the first give users. It all looks good. But when trying to actual do a login, then the credentials are not accepted. If the test is all good, shouldn’t any login credentials from the external wordpress be accepted?
